COOKING SHOW

We are not usually the biggest smoothie fans, but sometimes it is fun to experiment with different fruit and juice combinations. This is a great breakfast or afternoon pick-me-up for guys who are on the go. There is some oatmeal for fiber, as well as vitamin-rich papaya, and antioxidant-full blueberries. The added ginger gives it some zing!

COOKING SHOW

Pesto Genovese is a the perfect example of a classic, healthy Italian recipe. Although there have been thousands of variations that play with the idea of pesto, the original is just divine when made with the right ingredients. It is so easy to prepare, as long as you have fresh basil and a good Parmesan cheese. Here we serve it with some broiled halibut, for those who need the extra protein and omega- 3 fatty acids.

COOKING SHOW

This dessert proves that not everything that is delicious makes you fat. In fact, this is one of the healthiest desserts, besides plain fruit, that we can think of! These desserts are raw and easy to make with few ingredients. In addition, you are supporting rainforest conservation efforts, because cacao trees can only grow in a functioning rainforest environment. Who knew that eating chocolate could help save the environment?
