Farmers and Artisan Food Producers

  • Ithaca, New York based Eve's Cidery makes excellent hard ciders that reflect the ideal growing conditions of the Finger Lakes region.

  • We love Beltane Farm in Lebanon, CT. Not only do they make many types of goat cheese and an amazingly thick yogurt, but they also host tastings on Sunday in their cozy shed with hot cider.

  • Cayuga Pure Organics produces a variety of beans (black, navy, pinto are just a few) in the Finger Lakes region of New York state.

  • Line of organic citrus-crushed olive oils and artisan barrel-aged wine vinegars.

  • One of our favorite organic farms.  They are at the Union Square Greenmarket on Mondays.  We love their selection of produce, dairy products, and Eastern Mediterranean herbs.

  • La Boite a Biscuit by Chef Lior Sercarz is a company that produces delectable little biscuits (cookies in French) that come in lovely tins.  The flavors are based on a collection of art by a different artist each season, with each tin including a small print from the collection to keep.  Flavors might include coffee, white chocolate, and dulce de leche; or chamomile, almond, and fig. These tins make excellent gifts for even the most discerning food lover.  La Boite a Biscuit has a sibling, La Boite a Epice, which is of exotic spice blends inspired by cultures around the world.
