Rose, Hibiscus, and Carcade Iced Tea

Small Handful of Dried Damscene Roses

Small Handful of Dried Hibiscus (often sold as Sorrel or Jamaica) Flowers

Small Handful of Dried Carcade Buds*

2 Sprigs of Mint

1 Large Ball Jar or Heat Safe Pitcher

1 Liter Boiling Water

Place the dried flowers in a large Ball jar or pitcher, along with the mint sprigs.  Pour over the hot water and let the tea steep as it cools to room temperature.  Cover and place in the fridge and chill.  When you are ready to drink the tea, ladle it into glasses through a sieve (to catch the buds and petals), and then sweeten to your liking.

Makes 1 Liter.
