Summer drinks are very popular in the Middle East. Below is a list that can be purchased online or at Middle Eastern store. All you need to do is add water and sometimes sugar and pine nuts.
1. Jallab: Syrup made of molasses, rose water, dates. The combination of the ingredients gives it an amazing taste unlike anything you have experienced.
Simply put 3 tablespoon of the syrup in a glass fill with water and ice. Top it with pine nuts. It has a refreshing sweet taste.
2. Orange Flower Water (May Zaher.) Orange Blossom water. It is often used in Middle Eastern desserts and pastries. Simply add 3 tablespoons of orange flower water and 2 tablespoons of sugar into a full glass of water.
3. Rose Water (May Wared). Rose Water is made of distilled rose petals. Similar to Orange Flower Water, mix it in a glass of water with sugar and ice. Drink it fresh. Rose water is also used in Middle Eastern desserts and pastries.
